Hi, I’m Stan and I bring over 10 years of experience providing excellent caregiving services. I’ve worked with patients/clients in hospitals, assisted living facilities, nursing homes and private/family homes. I’ve provided care and support services for adults of all ages with a variety of injuries, illnesses, conditions and disabilities including physical, mental, emotional and developmental. Advanced services that take my caregiving to a higher level include my patient advocate services:  Protecting the rights of patients by ensuring that they are aware of and understand their rights  Providing patients with person-centered care and support while prioritizing their safety and well-being  Ensuring that patients’ voices and concerns are heard and responded to appropriately  Facilitating communication between patients and medical staff / patients and family by assisting with phone calls, Facetime, etc.  Providing moral and emotional support for patients  Being there with patients undergoing procedures before, during and afterwards  Being there when patients receive test results and review medical plans/treatment options  Being the eyes and ears for family when they cannot be present  Providing family with reports and updates  Developing and managing customized, patient/client care plans for short-term/temporary as well as on-going support Basic caregiving services I offer include:  Assisting with personal health & hygiene care  Assisting with medication regimen and other treatments such as physical/occupational therapy  Assisting with motion and movement including transfers and mobility support  Preparing meals and assisting with feeding  Facilitating fitness and exercise activities suitable for one’s ability and health status  Assisting with shopping, errands and appointments  Providing companionship as well as facilitating socialization I am certified through Home Care Aide (HCA) and In-home Support Services (IHSS). I am also nurse-delegated as well as CPR & First Aid certified and can provide references upon requests.
